A Safe and Personal Journey with Ketamine Therapy

As a Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, I am dedicated to providing a deeply personalized and transformative approach to mental health care through ketamine therapy. My practice is designed to prioritize your safety, comfort, and self-discovery in an environment where you feel supported and valued.
What sets my approach apart is the uniquely intimate and intentional experience I create for each individual. Every session is 1:1, meaning I am with you throughout the entire process. This consistent presence fosters a sense of safety, continuity and trust, essential for engaging with the vulnerable and transformative nature of ketamine therapy.
The Experience:
-
IV or IM Administration: I offer both intravenous (IV) and intramuscular (IM) ketamine therapy, tailoring the method to your needs and goals.
-
Continuous Presence: From start to finish, I remain in the room, monitoring your vital signs and holding space for your journey.
-
A Therapeutic Setting: You’ll be lying down with a room-darkening eye mask to encourage an inward-facing experience. Soft, calming music (or music of your choice) plays in the background, creating an atmosphere conducive to self-reflection and exploration.
-
Curiosity and Openness: I guide patients to approach their experience with curiosity, allowing whatever arises to be met with acceptance. This mindset helps uncover deeper layers of self-awareness and healing.
Why This Matters:
I can certainly appreciate that Ketamine therapy can be a vulnerable experience, and I strive to create a safe, supportive environment where you feel truly held. By remaining present, I ensure that you have the guidance and reassurance needed to fully engage with your inner experience. This is a space
for connection, discovery, and growth—a chance to explore yourself with compassion and curiosity.
Your journey is unique, and my practice is committed to honoring that uniqueness. All are welcome here. Together, we will navigate the path toward greater clarity, healing, and emotional freedom.
About the provider

Abbey Stone (she/her), originally from Tennessee, has been living in Colorado since 2011. She graduated from nursing school in 2010 and began her career working in cardiovascular intensive care. However, her passion for mental health ultimately led her to pursue advanced training in psychiatry. Abbey earned her degree from Regis University in 2023 and has since been working as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP), providing care both through telehealth and in-person.

Abbey’s dedication to psychiatry and mental wellness stems from her own lifelong journey of self-exploration. She deeply admires the bravery and vulnerability it takes for individuals to begin the process of looking inward.
Her approach to care is highly individualized, recognizing that each person’s experiences, beliefs, genetics, and other factors influence their response to treatment. Abbey offers a range of services, including traditional medication management, ketamine-assisted therapy, and integrative psychiatry. Her practice goes beyond symptom management, addressing nutrition, movement, breathwork, dietary supplements, and the quality of relationships—both with others and with oneself.

Abbey’s practice is characterized by authenticity, curiosity, and warmth. She frequently works with individuals experiencing depression, anxiety, mood disorders, OCD, and trauma, but she also welcomes the opportunity to work with a variety of diagnoses. She understands that mental health is rarely black and white and has found that her patients are often her greatest teachers.

Outside of her professional life, Abbey enjoys spending time with her husband, two sons, and two dogs. She loves being outdoors, attending live music and comedy shows, hiking, camping, traveling, dancing, and connecting with others. And she treasures her time to rest and sleep.
